I'm Kamila. I'm in the final year of high school. My matura exam is nearer and nearer. And instead learn, I watch movies and listen music.

I have just watched, well to be true, I tried to watch film based on Shakespeare's play 'Titus Andronicus' and I failed.  My friend said that I should watch it, because it is brilliant.  Before I tempted myself to do so, I read some reviews and they where also promising, but ...  Maybe it is just me who don't appreciate modern references to the world of Rome.  But believe me I'm not amused by the emperor who is from the beginning stylised on dissolute Hitler. And this young boy kidnapped form the house and passed like a doll to the side the author decided the watcher should be on.  After an hour (the film lasts 2,5 hour) I said enough.  I just couldn't longer stand the so obvious and indiscreet manipulation of the director.  I'm not the connoisseur and expert in films or in any other branches of art, but this was just too much for me.  Maybe someone has quite other feelings ...

From a couple of days I here that wuestion very often. 'Where's that winter?' Am I the only one, that knows when one season ends and the other one begins.  In my climate we have still a month of autumn.  I really don't know if people like the frost so much, or their children are killing them with that question.  It is remarkable that every child I know loves every time of weather, we adults are always unsatisfied with it, but not them. There is always something interesting to do, even if it rains heavily. So children, don't be mad at me, but I will pray to winter not to come too soon.

You can call me old-fashioned but it really gets on my nerves that we, Poles, take up American holidays and abandon ours. What is going on with those trick-or-treating thing. The only one I can see is obesity. Maybe I'm too harsh or maybe I like our tradition. I don't think that we have to stay in one place and do everything like a few hundreds years ago, but I think the tradition has to be celebrated. I'm forward to adjust it to contemporary situation we are live in. But we cannot forget who we are, and we mustn't be ashamed of our roots.

I never wanted to go political, but this time I have to break the rules. Everyone is talking about big crisis all over the world. I'm not blind and I know that there is one, that is out of question, but I really do not understand why everyone is so excited about the Greece. Of course, I would be also very angry when someone would like to take away what is mine, but why can't they understand that they are on the edge and there is no other way than to save. I really do not understand why the European Union gives money to someone who just want to take and give nothing back. I'm also aware of the fact that if Greece will go bankrupt whole EU will have big trouble, because Greece will pull other countries down. But why all those money given to Greece can't be used to protect other countries and let it to go it's own way?

Today heard a programme about the silence. Very often we use the expression 'so quiet you hear a pin drop'. The scientists proved that such a thing don't exists, at least in Europe. According to them there are only few places in the world where you won't hear any mechanical sounds during half an hour.

This news was quite shocking for me while I was considering myself as quiet-loving person. But I have change my mind as the show continued. There were many people like me saying they love silence, but after a few short questions they discovered that the very first thing they do when they come home is turning on TV or radio. Well I have to admit that when I'm alone I do exactly the same (except that I almost do not use TV). Besides as far as I remember I wasn't capable of learning without music on. The best for this purpose was Vivaldi and his four seasons.

Can any of you imagine a whole week without the Internet, phone, TV or radio? No? So welcome to my world of many sounds.

Last week I was on my way home, sitting on a bus, when I heard that if you aren't on facebook it means that you don't exist. Are there more people thinking that?

Of course, I don't have an account on facebook and I don't feel like having one. Maybe I just don't understand the whole idea of it, but what this can change in my life? What clicking on “like it” can change in my life except that whole members know more and more about you and you loose your privacy. For me writing this shorts notes is enough of selling myself.

Please, don't understand me wrongly. I just can't imagine living without the Internet. By dint of it I don't have to think about the bills, I can do quick shopping and can find things I really want to have instead of having what is in shops in my town. But showing my own life to people I don't know is definitely not for me.

Sorry for not being here for so long, but the spring (or very early summer I should say) has come.  My body desperately needs sun and in every free moment I give it to it.  But there is also very stressful side of this beautiful weather, my weight. Suddenly all my clothes from last years has magically shrunk and unfortunately I am forced to buy some new once. Hey I know now why I have such dreadful nightmares since last Friday...

When I was little I dreamt about go to guy, someone who knows how to solve any problem.  Well I grew up and I learnt few things and I know that go to guy is ideal only if you got a problem.  On other any occasion he is a pain in the ass.  he knows the best and you just have to do the way he says.  No other alternatives are included!  So be careful what you ask for :)

No matter how strong I would like to deny, I can't. I'm real woman.  On autumn I felt in love in very beautiful, but totally impractical coat.  Then I though 'Don't buy it, it won't work.  It's too bright.  Ivory is not good colour for someone who uses public transport'.  Well today I wore that coat.  After 4 months of winter, I went to the store, when I saw it and there it was, waiting for me.  How could I say no ....
